Then off to Zagreb via
I book a flight to Zagreb, Croatia on Air Bosna, a new airline serving Sarajevo. The plane is an old Yak-42 (a Russian DC-10) which is kind of scary, but it's cheap and the fastest way out of Sarajevo. The alternative is a 12 hour bus ride through the mountains.
A sketch of the center of Zagreb on Friday night. Hundreds of school kids cruise about popping in and out of the dozens of pubs and cafes in Zagreb.
And that's about it, I stopped in the Netherlands for a few days then made my way back to California. Little did I know in 4 weeks I would be returning to Bosnia to work as an Election supervisor again... but that's a different sketch book.
